About Me: I am a Mother, Wife, and Friend and I am a Coach for youth bowling leagues.. and high school bowling.. My girls high school team won sectionals and made it to State Finals this year!! WOOO HOO we finished 8th out of 170 schools..I am PROUD! I have been married for a zillion years..wait, it just seems that way..LOL I enjoy long chats with people that have something interesting to say..I will try almost anything once, numerous times, over and over if I like it..I am probably the most open minded individual that you will meet..Bowling has been an important part of my life for a very long time..I met my husband while I was busy at work at a local bowling center..HINT: Working at a bowling alley is a GREAT way to meet guys! :) My kids both bowl and my daughter also met her husband in a bowling alley..My son was high average for his high school team, class of 2008... The family that bowls together usually stays together..
Music: My musical tastes vary..I enjoy rock the most, most alternative, soft jazz and Yanni music when I am in my studio creating.. My tastes are from end of the spectrum to the other from AC/DC to Diana Krall
Movies: I am sucker for romantic comedies and comedies in general...I absolutely love John Candy movies, Chevy Chase, and Adam Sandler..I LOVE to laugh.. also any movie starring Robert Deniro..
TV: I like the game shows..Jeopardy, Cash Cab, and any show that forces me to use my gray matter..King of Queens and Yes Dear..who ever wrote for those shows has a Brilliant mind!
Books: I am a very spiritual person and dive right into books by Sylvia Browne and James Van Praugh
Likes: I like people that can keep a friendship real and keep it going.. I love bowling and horseshoes..Picnics and rainy days. Sushi and wasabi!!
Dislikes: I detest the automatic checkout lanes in grocery stores..Automation steals jobs!! If I have to wait longer to go through an attended check out line...so be it! Phonies and Fakes nauseate me..
Hobbies: I like to create florals, read ( when time permits) and garden...I also collect antiques.I love Flea Markets and Auctions..
Vices: I used to smoke, gave that up over 18 years ago and never have I regretted that move! I will have an occasional drink, Black Russians are my very favorite cocktail!
Virtues: I am honest and a true blue friend..I give too much of myself at times and I sometimes get my feelings hurt when others take me and my generosity for granted.. I have compassion for those less fortunate and for those that have not...
Heroes: My Mom was my hero...I lost her to pancreatic cancer almost 2 years ago..She taught me that anything is possible if you just believe..My dad died when I was 16 and she raised 3 of us teenagers by herself.. All through her ordeal with cancer and chemo therapy she ever gave up trying.. And most importantly, she always told us that she loved us..

Hi Kari!
StaceySounds like we had about the same year....we have always, always won sectionals since the begininning of time. It was my 1st year as head coach and we lost. Came in 2nd but our sectional is so small that only 1 girls team moves on. There's only one other year we haven't made it to state finals...it was very depressing. Our parents take it so seriously that there were alot of things said to and about me. It was awful. Our boys were runners up at state finals and our girls were big enough team players that most were there every weeekend cheering them on. I was very proud of them. I think most of the girls learned a very valuable lesson about winning and losing and taking things for granted. The hard way, but learned it. I'm not real sure about our in-coming freshmen so not sure what kind of team I will have next year....my son will be a freshman and the boys are stacked deep w talent so I don't know if he will make the cut...we are losing 4 senior boys so maybe....
good to hear from you! any tournaments for you coming up?
